How it works

Four steps from shoebox to summary

You stay in control. Nothing reaches your register until you approve it.

1. Photograph or upload
Snap the receipt with your phone or upload a JPG, PNG, WEBP or PDF from your computer.
2. We read the details
Merchant, date, subtotal, GST/HST/PST, total, payment method and a suggested Canadian expense category.
3. You review and approve
Check the numbers on the review screen. Approve, edit or reject — nothing is saved to your books until you say so.
4. Report and export
Approved receipts flow into your register, reports and tax summary, ready for your accountant.

Features

Receipt register

Every approved receipt in one searchable list, filtered by business, date, category or merchant.

Your records stay yours

Security is built into the foundation, not bolted on later.

  • Email verification is required before you can sign in.
  • Row-level security means each account reads only its own rows.
  • Receipt images are held in a private storage area, never public.
  • Images open through signed links that expire in about two minutes.
  • Receipt reading runs on our servers; no keys or secrets are in your browser.
  • File type and size are validated before any upload: JPG, PNG, WEBP or PDF up to 10 MB.
  • Receipt processing and feedback submissions are rate limited.
  • Secure sign-out and password reset are built in.
